Indian Association of Charlottesville was founded in 2010 with a mission to form a common bond among the people of Indian origin living in Charlottesville and surrounding areas; to preserve, foster and honor the diverse social, cultural and educational heritage of India especially in the younger generation; and to promote the same in the mainstream American society so as to enhance mutual understanding and goodwill amongst the Indian-American community and mainstream American society.

We would like to convey our heartfelt thanks for making 2023 a success and wish you a belated Happy 2023! Hope this year brings you and your family endless joy and laughter.
First the latest updates:
It is with pleasure that we announce the new IAC committee for the year 2024:
Mr. Snehal Patel will lead us as the president,
Mr. Poolatsya Maliwad will be our treasurer and
Mr. Arjun Dirghani will be our secretary.
Ms. Tara Illgner will serve as our committee board members.
MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION:
There will be no membership fee this year. All events will be ticketed and open to the whole community. All tickets are first come, first serve - subject to venue capacity.
Members who have paid 2020 membership will be contacted separately regarding reimbursement options.
The new committee has decided to have Holi; Independence Day and Diwali as the important events for this year. We will let you know if we add any additional gatherings, depending upon the community feedback.
Donations and Sponsorships for any of the events are most welcome. Do contact us directly in this regard.
We plan to have our first event, “Holi & Kite flying festival” on April 27th tentatively. You will receive the details about it in a few weeks.
We hope you continue to support us again this year. We are looking forward to creating some wonderful memories together.
